Overview

This 9-day “Saints and Martyrs” Tour of Mexico offers a powerful pilgrimage through the lives and legacies of Mexico’s Catholic heroes. Beginning in Mexico City, guests visit the Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe, the Church of Santiago Tlatelolco, and the Museum of Blessed Miguel Pro. The journey continues to Puebla and Tlaxcala, with visits to religious landmarks like the Santa Monica Museum and St. Francis of Assisi Church. In Guanajuato, pilgrims tour Cerro del Cubilete, a key Cristero War site, before heading to Guadalajara to honor St. José Sánchez del Río, visiting places tied to his martyrdom and faith. The tour concludes with a return flight from Mexico City.

Over the next two (2) days, you will visit and tour:
Sites aligned with St. Jose Sanchez del Rio (the young Cristero Martyr). This includes the Church of St. James (where he was imprisoned) and the Cemetary where he declared his faith with the famous words “Viva Cristo Rey!”
Tour Guadalajara Cathedral and historical landmarks.

Transfer to Mexico City Airport for return flight(s) home
