Day 6: Guanajuato – Guadalajara
Visit and Tour the Cerror del Cubilete – famous site for the Cristero movement.
Visit Santa Ana de Guadalupe and the Shrine of San Toribio Romo.
Day 7 and 8: Guadalajara
Over the next two (2) days, you will visit and tour:
Sites aligned with St. Jose Sanchez del Rio (the young Cristero Martyr). This includes the Church of St. James (where he was imprisoned) and the Cemetary where he declared his faith with the famous words “Viva Cristo Rey!”
Tour Guadalajara Cathedral and historical landmarks.
Day 9: Return Home
Transfer to Mexico City Airport for return flight(s) home.
